Company Overview

We are looking for a senior Webflow developer for our Webflow app website Formconnector.app. Our greater team at Candid Leap is composed of talented designers, developers, and operations specialists passionate about building high-performing Webflow experiences.

This role requires a strong technical foundation in Webflow, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with internal teams to deliver high-quality work.

This role may be as a contractor or full-time. It may be for the near future, or for later this year. We are a small business and are running these ads to make relationships with kind, talented Webflow developers.

Role Overview

As a Webflow Developer, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing Webflow projects for Form Connector. You will be working with designers, project managers, and developers to ensure smooth execution of Webflow-based solutions.

Experience in using components, slots, variables, and custom code is a must have in this role. We understand that there are few Webflow developers with this level of experience, and if you have it, we are looking forward to seeing your work.

Responsibilities

• Ability to build with components, slots, variables, and custom code.
• Ensure proper organization and structure in Webflow projects using Finsweet’s Client-First approach.
• Optimize Webflow projects for speed, SEO, and performance while implementing caching strategies where applicable.
• Stay up-to-date with new Webflow features, trends, and best practices to continuously improve workflow and execution.
• Collaborate with designers, developers, and project managers to ensure seamless execution of projects.

Requirements

• 1-2 years minimum of experience in Webflow development
• Fluent English (written and spoken) – must be comfortable communicating with clients and team members via video calls and Slack
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in problem-solving
• Familiarity with Finsweet’s Client-First methodology
• Strong understanding of responsive design best practices

Specific Skills & Details We Are Looking For

• Read only projects that show your builds are clean and organized
• Experience with writing JavaScript and CSS to leverage component properties (just like how Timothy Ricks does with Lumos)
• Examples of at least one component-first site you have built, using variables and custom code to power properties
• Examples of advanced projects that are built from scratch and not using Relume
• Knowledge of using slots inside components
