Digital Advocacy Website Developer

Bantam Communications is looking for a talented Webflow Developer and Designer who specializes in building digital advocacy and community engagement platforms. The ideal candidate will combine design thinking with technical expertise to create compelling spaces that drive meaningful community action.

Role Overview

As an embedded member of our team, you'll be responsible for both designing and developing powerful, user-friendly platforms that help organizations build and engage their communities of support. From initial concept through final implementation, you'll own the entire process of creating solutions that amplify voices and drive change.

Key Responsibilities

• Design intuitive user interfaces and experiences in Figma
• Create detailed site plans, wireframes, and prototypes
• Develop responsive design systems that maintain consistency
• Build custom Webflow solutions for advocacy organizations
• Design and implement community engagement features
• Create dynamic user experiences that encourage advocacy participation
• Implement tracking and analytics to measure community engagement
• Develop custom forms, databases, and automation workflows
• Integrate third-party tools and APIs to enhance platform capabilities

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of advanced Webflow development experience
• Strong UI/UX design skills with proficiency in Figma
• Portfolio demonstrating both design and development work
• Expert knowledge of Webflow's CMS and Collection features
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with form handling and data collection
• Understanding of API integrations and automation tools
• Knowledge of design systems and component libraries
• Experience with analytics and conversion tracking

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience designing advocacy or community platforms
• Understanding of digital advocacy strategies and best practices
• Experience with Memberstack, Airtable, or similar tools
• Knowledge of email marketing platform integrations
• Experience with CRM integrations
• Understanding of privacy and data protection requirements
• Background in social impact or advocacy work

Contract Details:

• Remote position
• Independent contractor (1099) status
• Reports to Director of Digital & Technology
• 25 hour/week time expectation
